On November 20, 2019 WCCS members took a tour of the newly built Ronald McDonald House in northern Colorado Springs. Their tour was guided by Sam Rush-Walton, Development Director of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Colorado. Members were awed by the beautiful and welcoming new home!

After touring the Ronald McDonald House, the WCCS members had lunch at the Memorial Hospital North cafeteria and then proceeded to Children’s Hospital for a tour. This state-of-the-art 294,000 square feet facility has six levels that are entirely devoted to children, and it houses the first pediatric-only operating rooms and emergency department in Colorado Springs.

With the addition of these 2 new facilities in Colorado Springs, children and their families will be able to experience higher quality care during times of illness!
